While hunting ex-Imperial commanders for the New Republic, the Mandalorian is sent on a mission to rescue Jabba the Hutt's only remaining son.

Grogu was cute as always, but underused. His rescue mission didn't include any use of the Force, which was disappointing -in fact, he only used levetation in most cases, where he specifically destroyed a mouse droid in the opening scenes. The Mandalorian, meanwhile, shows that he can take on an entire army of stormtroopers and mercenaries single-handedly, even without a weapon. Why bother having anybody else to wage a war? The movie was presented in 3D, but not filmed for 3D, but the experience was worth it for shots of the x-wings up close -really cool. Also, seeing the dejarik game played live, with the exact move as seen in the original Star Wars between R2D2 and Chewbacca, was super-neat. It was also neat seeing Zeb from Rebels, though the inciting plot was recycled from the pilot episode of The Clone Wars, which was unfortunate. I also forgot how much I dislike the music from this show, cringing every time the main theme came on.
